Michael Bloomberg dismissed the idea that he’s deliberately been associating himself with major figures in the Democratic Party as he prepares to run for re-election.
In a press conference at City Hall this afternoon, a reporter asked about that trend, noting that he’s set to appear on New Year’s Eve with Bill and Hillary Clinton, the “first couple of the Democratic Party.”
Bloomberg said, “I don’t know that my links to the Democrats are growing any more than my links to Republicans, who are not growing, depending on who you ask.”

Well let's see what this man has done for us lately, touted Caroline Kennedy, manuevered and positioned himself for another term, withheld money on housing rebates only to raise the property tax again. There is a distinct disconnect with the New Yorker's who he professes to lead. His leadership is self driven.
