Orthodox Jewish Democratic Assemblyman Dov Hikind of Brooklyn is endorsing John McCain for president, and says he's crossing party lines because of comments made by Barack Obama's former minister.
According to Vos is Neias, Hikind said:
"It's about character, and Barack Obama can not look the American people in the eye and say that he did not know that his Reverend was an unrepentant racist – the man who consecrated his marriage, who baptized his children, who was his spiritual advisor and confidante. It's not plausible, it's disingenuous, and it disqualifies him from ably serving as the president of the United States."
