Massa Keeps Acting Like a Congressman
By Jimmy VielkindALBANY—He hasn't declared victory, but Eric Massa is certainly acting like a congressman.
The Corning Democrat, who presumptively defeated Representative Randy Kuhl three weeks ago, was with the New York congressional delegation when it met with David Paterson, State Senator Malcolm Smith and Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver in Washington today, according to Massa spokesman Jared Smith.
Massa has also attended orientation for new members, made decisions about policy positions, and is generally referred to as Representative-elect.
But hey're still counting votes in the 29th District, and Kuhl still hasn't conceded.
